Advanced Rn’s who practice as a clinical specialist, nurse anethesists, nurse-midwives, and nurse practitioners have to obtain a masters degree from one of the qualified RN to MSN schools who offer the program. An RN to MSN program can lead to qualifications for the Executive MSN program where those with management experience will be able to obtain the required skills to be considered for this leadership program. It is in the BSN, MSN, and higher that the practitioners are trained in areas of communication, leadership, and critical thinking. The MSN program offers the advantages that certifications below the graduate level will not be able to apply to obtain. The higher education level a prospect student earns will require more difficult work and GPA in order to stay in the program. Completion of the program does have its perks.
